Inspections and Enforcement
The mission of the Inspections & Enforcement Division is to safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Santa Fe by ensuring that construction work is completed in accordance with the City's adopted codes and ordinances and that private properties are maintained in compliance with the City's environmental regulations while providing the highest possible level of customer service.
IVR (Interactive Voice Response) System: now live!
Thank you for your patience as we have implemented our new system for permitting and inspections. On December 12th, you will be able to schedule, reschedule, check results, or cancel inspections with the new IVR system. Simply call 505-955-6110 and follow the prompts. Click on the image to the right to download the complete brochure and list of inspection codes, or stop by the permit desk at 200 Lincoln Avenue to pick up a copy.
To use the IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system, you must have your permit number. You can find it in the top right corner of your permit. When entering your permit number over the phone, key in only the numbers - no dashes or letters. Inspection requests entered prior to 3:00 pm will be scheduled for the next business day in most cases.
