The Internal Affairs Division assists the Chief of Police in ensuring public safety by preserving the public’s trust and confidence in the Santa Fe Police Department. This is accomplished through comprehensive and impartial investigations of alleged employee misconduct, providing proactive measures to prevent such misconduct, and maintaining the highest standards of fairness and respect towards citizens and employees.
