Special Events List

The following is a working list of events and organizations that recognize historic events/people that receive City support. The list was compiled using information provided by various City department, public records and event calendars. For the purposes of this inventory, support included funding in the form of contracts and fees, as well as in-kind support such as reduced or waived fees, permits, staffing, etc. Historic is 50 or more years old (i.e. pre-1967).

We encourage members of the public to review the list. If you believe an event or organization is included in error, or would like to submit an event/organization for possible inclusion, please use the submission form . The intent is to create a complete listing of City support for events/organizations recognizing historic events/people.
