The airport keeps records of the numbers of airline passengers flying each month. These numbers tell us how busy we are and if our air service is continuing to meet the needs of the flying public. An enplanement is a passenger boarding an airline and a deplanement is a passenger arriving in Santa Fe on an airline. The number of enplanements we receive in any given year allows us to be eligible for varying amounts of federal funding to support capital improvements at the airport.
