The effort to continue getting Santa Fe City government out of City Hall—which began with the March 28th City Council meeting at the Southside Library—will continue with three more meetings this year out in the community. ...Read more »
The City of Santa Fe’s Southside Summer is bringing music, performance, block parties, swimming, movies and more to the city’s Southside May through August. The program will also highlight and promote a busy summer calendar of events outside of downtown. The City’s Arts Commission and Parks and Recreation staff are also working in partnership with community organizations to produce at least eight Feature Events. Mayor Alan Webber said, “We already have wonderful events happening downtown. Many of our families live south of St. Michael’s; Southside Summer is about bringing family entertainment to their doorstep and bringing Santa Feans together. We don’t do that often enough, but when we do, it helps us feel more connected to one another.” ...Read more »

Santa Fe Public Libraries are part of a new program designed to connect Santa Feans in every neighborhood to the art and cultural sites that make Santa Fe an international destination, for free. Santa Fe Trails, the City’s bus service, is asking the public to weigh in on proposed changes to routes and route schedules for the 2, 22, and 26 routes. A Public Information Meeting will be held April 12th from 3:00PM to 6:00PM at the Santa Fe Place Mall Food Court, which is adjacent to the current Southside Transit Center.
