Video: GameStop Armed Robbery

Santa Fe Police Detectives are searching for two men who threatened employees at the GameStop on Cerrillos Road and robbed them at gunpoint.

The incident happened Thursday, August 22, 2013 just before 8:30 p.m.

Newly obtained surveillance video shows two men, whose faces were covered with bandanas, walk into the store, demand an employee lay face down on the ground and then order the cashier empty the store’s register. The suspects also cleared two PlayStation 3’s, an Xbox 360 and multiple games from the store’s shelves before fleeing.

Suspect one is described as Caucasian, about six feet tall, slender with brown eyes and hair. He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black pants and gloves.

The other is described as a short Hispanic man. Wearing all black. The cashier said he was carrying a black .22 handgun.
