Traffic Disruption for Fourth of July Fireworks Show

On Sunday, July 4, 2021, the Kiwanis Club and the City of Santa Fe will be presenting this year’s Fourth of July Fireworks Show at the Santa Fe Place Mall. The Santa Fe Police Department will be at the event to assist with public safety and traffic direction.

Beginning at 4:00 pm on July 4, 2021, Rodeo Road from Cerrillos Road to Zafarano Drive will be closed to all vehicular traffic. This section of Rodeo Road will remain closed until the completion of the fireworks event.

There are three points of entry to this year’s event. Entry can be made using Zafarano Drive, Wagon Road and the mall entrance near the Applebee’s Restaurant.

At the conclusion of the event, officers and public safety aides will be providing traffic direction at all of the mall exits.  The Santa Fe Police Department is asking that the public be patient with the traffic congestion and to follow the traffic direction provided by officers and the public safety aides.
