To Skate with Paul Wylie, 1992 Olympic Silver Medalist


At The Genoveva Chavez Community Center Ice Arena

The Santa Fe Skating Club is pleased to announce that Paul Wylie, 1992 Olympic Silver Medalist, will be leading a special Learn to Skate class on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 12:15pm – 1:00pm at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center. Skaters of all levels and ages are invited to attend this event and then stay for Mr. Wylie’s key-note address, photos, and autographs at 1:15pm – 2:30pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for members of the Santa Fe community to give skating a try or to return to skating.

The fee is $20 for those who register in advance and $25 for those who register at the door. Advance registration is available at

The Santa Fe Skating Club is hosting a broader 6.75-hour Paul Wylie Skating Clinic that focuses on Technique, Artistry, and Presentation. This clinic takes place Friday, February 24 and Saturday, February 25. This opportunity is available to beginner skaters through senior level skaters and adults of all ages. The fee for this clinic is $100 for members of the Santa Fe Skating Club and $125 for non-Santa Fe Skating Club members. More information and online registration is available at

The Chavez Center Ice Arena offers year round ice skating. Skating Parties, Learn to Skate classes, Speed Skating, and Curling. Both Youth & Adult Hockey Programs and Leagues are offered.
