The Regional Emergency Communications Center (RECC) is looking for applicants for a vacant position on the RECC Board of Directors to represent the community at large of the City of Santa Fe, Santa Fe County, and the Town of Edgewood.
The RECC provides dispatch and communications services for law enforcement, fire, EMS, and animal control agencies within the City of Santa Fe, Santa Fe County, and the Town of Edgewood. The Board of Directors is comprised of eight (8) members, including seven (7) representatives of the City, County, and Town, as well as the community at-large member. The Board meets at least quarterly and on other occasions as necessary. The community at large member shall be appointed by the City Manager, County Manager, and Town Mayor. The position is voluntary and unpaid. The appointee shall not be an employee of the RECC or any of its member entities.
Interested parties shall submit a letter of interest to the RECC by 5:00 PM December 20, 2019, addressed to Director Vanessa Marquez at 35 Camino Justicia, Santa Fe NM 87508, or by email to [bot protected email address]. The letter shall identify the applicant’s qualifications and interest in serving in this important RECC position, and shall include the applicant’s resume and at least 3 references.
The RECC shall review all applications, perform any appropriate background or reference checks, and may conduct interviews prior to the appointment.
