Beginning on Monday, January 13, 2014 through January 21, 2014, the Parks Division is scheduled to remove holiday decorations located on the Plaza. Designated areas of the plaza will be closed and barricades will be utilized for safety. Motorists are urged to use caution and seek alternate routes.
“Each year, staff is responsible for installing and removing thousands of Christmas lights, garland, and farolitos throughout the plaza area, it is a timely process, that requires operation of a man-lift to complete the work,” stated Mark Aragon, Mechanical Structural Supervisor.
