News & Announcements
On Monday the City released a survey asking residents to weigh-in and on what they consider the most important role the City plays in their lives and the services they feel are the most valuable. The survey has been translated into Spanish and is now available to the public.
This is the first survey the City has undertaken, and it’s being offered in Spanish as well as English. Due to wide participation and public demand, we are extending the deadlines for responses as follows.
- The English version will stay open until Monday, May 25 at 5 p.m.
- The Spanish version will stay open until Thursday, May 28 at 5 p.m.
The City of Santa Fe is facing a budget crunch unlike anything any of us have ever seen. The COVID-19 pandemic and the economic emergency it has caused have left the City of Santa Fe facing a $100 million budget deficit going into the next Fiscal Year, which starts July 1. This is the worst budget shortfall we have ever experienced, and it happened practically overnight.
The answers will provide insight as we focus on delivering those services that people feel are the most essential.
We are asking everyone to answer thoughtfully and creatively. Your answers will help us shape the City we love.
Thank you in advance for your participation. We look forward to hearing from you! Please feel free to share the survey!
