Members of the Santa Fe Police Department are building a case against Sevedeo Lujan, 52.
He has confessed to having sexual contact with two female victims, who were juveniles at the time of the crime, and molesting another juvenile female as well.
It is possible that this man who has served as a foster parent and a youth basketball coach in Santa Fe as well as a youth football coach in Pecos, NM has victimized other children. Santa Fe Police Detectives would like to help any other individuals who may have been abused by Lujan and is asking them to come forward.
Detectives believe the offender may have been victimizing individuals since 1979. Investigations show his target demographic seems to be children ages 6-13. His most recent victim alleges the rape happened about a year ago.
Three additional, possible victims have come forward since we started investigating this case last week. Those three cases have not been added to Lujan’s charges as of yet. (That makes for a total of six alleged victims.)
Lujan is being held in the Santa Fe County Jail on a warrant for two counts of Criminal Sexual Penetration and one count of Criminal Sexual Contact. His bond is set at $100,000 cash only.
Victims can remain anonymous and are asked to call SFPD at (505) 428-3710 or Detective Judah Montano at (505) 660-2194.
