Police Search for Armed Pizza Bandit

Santa Fe Police want to identify a man witnesses say robbed the Papa Murphy’s location on Zafarano Drive just after 8 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2013.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, with a teardrop tattoo under his left eye and wearing a black hat, black sweatshirt, black gym pants and white sneakers.

The employee says the suspect told him to open the cash register and when he refused, the suspect allegedly lifted his shirt displaying a black hand gun and told the employee he didn’t care what happened because he was already facing twenty to life. The employee then handed over an unknown amount of money and the suspect fled.

Presumably this suspect has a prior criminal record and is to be considered armed and dangerous.

Surveillance video of the suspect can be seen on SFPD’s FACEBOOK page.

Anyone with information about this offender is asked to call Santa Fe Police at 505-428-3710.
