Plaza Holiday Decorating to Begin Tuesday, November 3, 2020

The City of Santa Fe Parks Division will begin decorating the Plaza beginning Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Decoration will continue through Wednesday, November 26, 2020.

Each year, City staff installs thousands of decorative lights, garlands, and farolitos throughout the Plaza. Designated areas of the Plaza will be closed and barricades will be utilized for safety while the decorating is completed. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution and seek alternate routes.

The City will host a COVID-safe virtual Lighting of the Plaza for residents when staff has completed their work. The details of the event and how to participate will be announced later in the month.
