The Santa Fe Human Services Committee is now seeking candidates to fill three member vacancies. The responsibilities of the Committee include oversight of the Human Services Fund, review of applications for the fund and making recommendations, and ensuring access to services for all residents of Santa Fe.
The priorities of the Committee are:
- Adult Health
- Behavioral Health
- Community Safety
- Equitable Society
The committee is advisory and makes funding recommendations to the Governing Body.
Membership is comprised of seven (7) members appointed by the Mayor with approval from the Governing Body. Considerations shall be made to ensure that the membership reflects a range of ages, lived experiences, and professional and community backgrounds. Members must reside within Santa Fe County.
The Committee meets six times per year. The meetings will be open to the public.
