News & Announcements
This week I had the distinct pleasure of talking with Jennifer LaBar-Tapia, the director of the Santa Fe Film Office, a joint City-County production. According to Jen, we're on track for a record-breaking year of film, TV, and digital productions. Even better, we're booked all the way through 2022, with 35 productions already in the works or in the pipeline. You know some of the titles shot here in Santa Fe: Roswell, Them, and News of the World starring Tom Hanks. Mario Lopez just wrapped Holiday in Santa Fe, coming out at Christmastime.
This is great for the economy, great for tourism, great for the residents of Santa Fe. It means clean jobs, lots of spending, and some show business sizzle—and speaking of sizzle, check out the cool "sizzle reel" in the WebberCast.
When it comes to movies, TV, and digital entertainment, Santa Fe is the place to write, produce, and make a movie or TV show. Roll the credits!
