City’s Flood EOC Emphasizing Requests for Residents, Businesses to Call in Damage Reports

The Emergency Operations Center (EOC) continues to work this week. FEMA will be joining us tomorrow to continue working through damage assessments.

Damage Update: When it comes to private property, we usually don't know about damage unless you tell us. Please report any damage to the Constituent Services hotline (505) 955-6949, so we can send out an assessment team. This applies to businesses, not just residences - FEMA teams are partnering with Small Business Association (SBA) to assess damage to area businesses but you must call call Constituent Services to request an assessment.

Crews are out doing assessments around Santa Fe. Please exercise caution when driving and give wide berth to crews to protect worker safety.

141 damage assessments have been completed out of 277 requests that have come into the Constituent Services hotline, as of Monday morning, July 30th.

MARC: Red Cross has opened 32 cases, as of Monday morning, July 30th. We’ve received positive feedback from the community services provided by the participating agencies, including Team Rubicon, Southern Baptist Disaster Relief, the Salvation Army and more.

Weather: Rain chances will trend up mid to late week as atmospheric moisture increases across much of New Mexico. Stay tuned to National Weather Service - Albuquerque for up to the minute updates.
