City of Santa Fe Weekly Wrap 03/5/2021
There's a lot going on in the City Different!
Saving Water and Money
Y'know how you have to upgrade your cell phone sometimes to keep up with improved service? Same with water meters. The City is replacing increasingly obsolete 3G endpoints on users' meters so they're compatible with 4G and 5G.This enables City of Santa Fe Water to track usage, identify leaks, and notify customers of waste, which will save two precious resources--water and money. Get the EyeOnWater app to keep track yourself. Read more here.
Read All About It
The Santa Fe Public Library received a grant from the NEA for a community reading program called The Big Read. Think of it as a very, very large book club. The selected title is Into the Beautiful North by Luis Alberto Urrea, and related events will take place from tomorrow through June. Find out more about the program here.
