News & Announcements
The City of Santa Fe and Saturday Warriors are excited to announce the Santa Fe Triathlon is back and will take place on Saturday, August 24, 2019.
The sprint triathlon is a longtime favorite that is centralized around the Genoveva Chavez Community Center (GCCC). The reverse event is a 5k run (3.1 miles), 12 mile bike, and a 400 meter pool swim in our Olympic size pool. The GCCC is a premier New Mexico recreation facility and was named the best community center workout facility in the United States by AthleticMindedTravler.com.
The Triathlon previously known as the City of Santa Fe Triathlon has been brought back to life in hopes of once again becoming an annual community event.
“Santa Fe is known for being an active and athletic community, we are thrilled that through a new partnership we can bring this event back,” said City Manager Erik Litzenberg.

Don’t forget if you don’t want to do all three events, you can grab a friend or two and make a team!
