Garage / Lot Permits

Monthly parking permits are issued at all of our garages and lots. Space is limited and waitlist is possible upon request. At the time of application, a $21.00 non-refundable application fee is required. The chart below shows current permit availability at our facilities.

To apply for a new permit or to renew a current permit, submit a Parking Permit Application to [bot protected email address] or complete the online application and attach / include the following documents:

  • Copy of vehicle(s) current registration;
  • Your previously issued access card number (if renewing)

Permits will not be issued to customers whose vehicles that have unpaid citations.

Thirty-day notice of cancellation is required.

 

Downtown Business Employee Rate ($35)

The Parking Division has adopted a low-cost downtown business employee monthly parking rate of $35.00 per month in all city owned garages and lots. In order to qualify for this reduced rate, employees must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Must be employed by a local City of Santa Fe business;
  • Hourly wage cannot exceed $15.00 per hour or annual salary cannot exceed $31,200.00;
  • Must provide most current and verifiable employer pay check stub;
  • Must provide a copy of the vehicle(s) current registration.

To apply for a new permit or renew a current discounted permit, submit a Parking Permit Application to [bot protected email address] or complete the online application and attach the following documents:

  • Current and verifiable employer pay check stub showing that you meet the hourly salary;
  • Copy of vehicle(s) current registration;
  • Your previously issued access card number (if renewing)

Permits will not be issued to customers whose vehicles have outstanding citations.

Thirty-day notice of cancellation is required.

 

Meter Zone Permits

Monthly parking meter permits allow for on-street parking at metered spaces. Download our pdf map of meter zone locations. 

Monthly Rate: $131.25 (includes tax) plus an annual administrative fee of $21.00 charged upon issuance or renewal. Parking meter permits are currently available in the following zones:

Railyard Surface Lot (excludes parking at Warehouse 21 and Site Santa Fe)

Zone A: South Federal Place, Washington, Sheridan, Grant, Catron, Jefferson, Griffin

Zone B: Don Gaspar, South Capitol, Galisteo, Montezuma, West De Vargas, Alameda

Zone C: Palace Aveue, Cienega, Hillside Otero

Zone D: Sandoval, Manhattan, Read, Garfield

City Employee Parking Permits

City of Santa Fe employees whose offices are located at City Hall and/or Market Station are entitled to receive a permit to the Santa Fe Community Convention Center and Railyard Garage, respectively. The permit is offered free of charge with the completion of a Parking Permit Application and is valid as long as the employee is employed with the City of Santa Fe and stationed at City Hall and/or Market Station. Permits must be renewed annually.
