Burn Permits And Fireworks

Open Burning

Open burning in the City of Santa Fe is generally prohibited with the exception of religious/ceremonial fires that require a burn permit. To obtain or inquire about a burn permit you must submit a written request to the Fire Marshal three days prior to the day of the burn. The applicant must provide the location, date, time, purpose of the burn, and means of extinguishing the fire.

There will be a $10.00 permit fee, except for registered non-profit organizations.
