The mission of the Santa Fe Fire Department is to provide a sustainable quality of life now and in the future for the entire Santa Fe community by protecting and preventing the loss of life and property through professional and efficient planning, preparation, training, fire prevention, public education and delivery of emergency services.

5/21 - Starting on Wednesday May 21st, the City of Santa Fe Fire Department Fire Prevention Division will be temporarily                   relocated at Fire Station 1 (200 Murales Road) due to an utilities upgrade.  Please stop by or call 505-955-3110 if you                 need their assistance. We hope this temporary relocation will only last until the 25th.

Chief Babcock is a native of Santa Fe and has been a Santa Fe Firefighter for over 28 years.  He has held the positions of; Firefighter/EMT, Paramedic, Engineer, Lieutenant, Captain, Battalion Chief and Assistant Chief of Operations.

As a leader in the Fire Department for over a decade, Chief Babcock  has developed extensive experience in planning, managing, organizing and directing the delivery of Fire and Emergency Medical Services to the residents and visitors of Santa Fe.
