Fees, Rules and Regulations

  • No motorized vehicles allowed on premises except in designated parking areas.  No ATV's.  No golf-carts.  No motorized scooters at BMX Track.
  • All dogs must be on a leash.  Dog owners must pick up and dispose of all dog waste.
  • No alcohol.
    • Santa Fe City Code #4-2.2 It is unlawful for any person to drink or consume alcoholic liquors or for any person who is the owner, proprietor, operator or agent of the owner, proprietor or operator to sell, serve, furnish or permit the drinking or consumption of alcoholic liquors in any public place or any public or private club, whether operated for profit or not, except in this establishments having a license to dispense alcoholic liquors.
  • No firearms.
  • No drugs.

Adult League Permit Fees

Per Ordinance: 2015-6 Ordinance the City of Santa Fe is required to charge the following fees:

  • $25 Per Player, Per Season Fee necessary to field a team according to each individual league.
  • $25 Per Player Fee ,  Per Season for one alternate per team.
  • Certificiate of Liability Insurance is also required, naming the City of Santa Fe-MRC as the holder.
    • Example: To play baseball or softball, a team must be made up of 10 players (plus 1 alternate). For this reason, a baseball or softball league is required to pay the City $275 total per team, per season. To play soccer, a team must be made up of 11 players (plus 1 alternate). For this reason, a soccer league is required to pay the City $300 total per team, per season. To play rugby, a team must be made up of 15 players (plus 1 alternate). For this reason, the league is required to pay the City $400 per team, per season.

Youth League & High School Sporting Event Fees

As per Ordinance: 2015-6 Ordinance the City of Santa Fe is required to charge the following fee:

  • $100 Team Fee Per Season, per sport or recreation activity.
  • Field Lining Paint (3, 5-gallon buckets per field) for lining of fields for games only.
  • Certificiate of Liability Insurance is also required, naming the City of Santa Fe-MRC as the holder.
  • In addition to the above fee, as per 2013-62 Resolution, youth league and high school users are required to participate in an annual clean up of designated Parks sports fields prior to obtaining a permit each year.

Sports Tournament Fees

  • $25 Permit Fee per team, per tournament, for the use of city of Santa Fe sports fields.
  • $150 Clean Up Fee
  • $75 Field Use Fee (per Field)
  • $30 Lighting Fee (per Field, per hour)
  • Additional Fees may apply
  • Certificate of Liability Insurance is also reqired, nameing the City of Santa Fe-MRC as the holder

Special Event Requirements and Fees

To schedule a special event, complete the online application above.  A pre-event meeting is required to determine availability, details/logistics of event, cost, and insurance requirements:

  1. Logistics (diagram of event, number of attendees, start/end time, etc.)
  2. Cost (see below), the cost of the permit is based on the number of attendees, weekday or weekend, before or after 5:00 p.m. and logistics required to be provided by the city for the event.
  3. Certificate of Liability Insurcance is also required, naming the City of Santa Fe-MRC as the holder (see below).

100+ Attendants:*

  • $25 Permit Fee per event
  • $150 Clean Up Fee
  • $35 Weekday/$70 Weekend Administrative Fee
  • $60 Supervisory Fee
  • $75 Field Use Fee, Per Field

50+ Attendants:

  • $25 Permit Fee per event
  • $150 Clean Up Fee
  • $35 Weekday/$70 Weekend Administrative Fee
  • $210 Weekday/$245 Weekend Field Use Fee

20+ Attendants:

  • $25 Permit Fee per event
  • $35 Weekday/$70 Weekend Administrative Fee
  • $60 Weekday/$95 Weekend Field Use Fee

*Liability Insurance Certificate

Groups of 100 attendees or more will require a $1,000,000 Certificate of Liability Insurance and the City of Santa Fe-MRC must be listed as an additional insured holder.  Contact your local insurance agencies to make arrangements to secure this certificate.
