Candidates must be at least 18 years old, have a valid driver's license and must have earned a high school diploma or equivalent.
The Hiring Process
Once vacancies within the City of Santa Fe Fire Department have been identified and approved to be filled by the Governing Body, the Human Resources department will publish a job announcement on the City's Jobs Page with the details of the open positions.
Approved Candidates will go through the following process:
1. A written exam study guide information.
2. Physical Fitness Assessment
3. Interview with a board of Fire Department personnel
