Culture Connects Coalition Donations Now Online
To donate to the Artist Relief Fund, please follow the link below. Culture Connects Coalition Fund has been granted a fiscal sponsorship from the Santa Fe Art Institute. This relationship makes any donation a tax-deductible contribution.
We have made it possible to choose from several levels of donations. Remember, all donations are tax deductible.
Culture Connects Coalition is a fund to support arts and culture in all their expressions for the greater good of our community and constituents. As our first initiative, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and to reduce its greater impact on our community, we have partnered with Lannan Foundation to form the Artist Relief Fund to help those artists most dramatically affected.
As a result of the overwhelming response to Round One and our interest of distributing funds to the greatest number of artists in the community, ALL GRANTS will be awarded in the amount of $500. If you applied for Round One, your application will be automatically be resubmitted for all future rounds unless you are selected for an awarded grant. You do not need to re-apply.
Generous members of the community have already contributed over $50,000 (of our $100,000 goal) in order to assist one of our most valuable economic resources: our creatives. Applications will open Monday, May 4 and are anticipated to close May 17 (or until we reach 150 applicants). As a result of the overwhelming response in Round One, we anticipate applications will close before the May 17.
Beginning May 18, we will begin reviewing applications received between May 4 – May 17.
We anticipate releasing the application form for Round Three on June 1.
Round One applications are currently being reviewed and we plan on releasing notifications the week of May 11.
Please note: it will take time to review applications, award applicants, and have payments processed. We cannot make funding immediately available through this relief fund. We hope artists will have to wait no longer than four to six weeks to receive funding and we will do our best to move quickly.
