Suspended and Modified Services
"Bag Tag" collection is suspended
Bulky waste collection is available for large household items such as furninture and appliances; limit four items per collection. No green waste is accepted at this time. Call (505) 955-2200 to schedule a collection.
Why are we making these changes?
To protect the health and safety of our staff- Drivers have been directed to avoid handling waste material such as “bag tag” trash outside the cart, and bulky waste. Additionally, we experience illegal dumping at our drop off sites that have to be cleaned on a daily basis.
To protect the workers at our transfer station and landfill- Our systems are being overwhelmed by an increase in household waste and non-essential waste as people staying at home are cleaning out their houses, garages, and yards.
These changes will ensure we are able to continue to provide essential services to you. We know you may feel inconvenienced. Please think of our front line workers that are collecting your waste every day, as well as the rest of your Santa Fe community.
Do not illegally dump at our sites, at the transfer station, or in the arroyos. It is illegal and it puts lives at risk.
