Communications, Constituent Services and Multimedia
The City of Santa Fe Communications, Constituent Services and Multimedia staff work together to provide a variety of services.
The Communications/Media Relations section serves as the liaison between elected officials and City staff to the media and the public. Staff in this section issues news releases, announcements, and emergency notices through various media outlets that include social networks, television, radio and print. The Constituent Services Section serves the link between City government, City councilors and their constituents; residents and partners. They provide a willing ear for concerns and requests and work to continuously to improve: city services, public involvement in local governmental process, accountability, customer service and transparency.
The Multimedia section produce City Council meetings, press conferences, special events, mini-documentary videos and public service announcements and also manage the City's government access cable television channel SFGTV 28. City videos are broadcast on SFGTV 28, shown at special events, used for training and recruitment and some are webcast online.
