Chief Babcock is a native of Santa Fe who started his career in the Fire Department over 28 years ago. Throughout his tenure, he has held the positions of Firefighter/EMT, Paramedic, Engineer, Lieutenant, Captain, Battalion Chief as well as Assistant Chief of Operations.

As a leader in the Fire Department for over a decade, Chief Babcock has developed extensive experience in planning, managing, organizing, and directing the delivery of Fire and Emergency Medical Services to the residents and visitors of Santa Fe.
