Program Objectives:

The Office for Business Growth (OBG) is a Santa Fe area wide business retention and expansion

program. This program accomplishes its goals through a one-on-one business visitation

program that connects businesses with business resources and assists them in navigating Santa

Fe’s business regulatory environment.

The objective of this program is to enhance the skills and knowledge of local businesses and

connect them to resources to stimulate their growth. These educational services will

complement the work of the of the City Navigator and the Office for Business Growth by

providing more in-depth information and hands-on training for Santa Fe business owners and

entrepreneurs.

Scope of Services:

Business education services program: The respondent shall implement a series of

education seminars and workshops that enhance the skills and knowledge of businesses

owners and entrepreneurs in Santa Fe. The respondent shall provide 15-20% of their

training events in Spanish.

The respondent shall design a project plan that shall serve the overall program objective

which targets a wide range of businesses and entrepreneurs in Santa Fe.

The project plan shall identify how they shall administer the education services program

which includes logistics, communications, interface between the OBG and the

respondent, presenters and partners; as well as other duties necessary to successfully

operate the business education services program. As part of the project plan, the

respondent shall identify the education services training targeted to immigrant

businesses/entrepreneurs and delivered in Spanish.

The respondent shall detail how they shall measure and benchmark success of the

program.

The respondent shall identify how they shall maximize participation and drive

attendance and awareness of the program and complementary portions of the program

(marketing, outreach and communications).

The respondent shall provide hard copy workbooks and/or an electronic format to

participants. Therefore, the respondent shall provide an example of the content to be

provided to the participants. The workbooks for the Spanish language training events

shall be provided to participants in Spanish.
