City of Santa Fe Water Facilities & Wastewater Facilities

Background

The City of Santa Fe Public Utilities Department is requesting bids from experienced firms to provide

electrician services to the City of Santa Fe Water Facilities, Transmission & Distribution Facilities and

Wastewater Facilities

General Requirements

Contractor must have over 5 years’ experience and knowledge in working with various types of

electrical equipment and some high voltage knowledge specifically related to water and wastewater

facilities. Follow state, local and national electrical codes. Prior experience with but not limited to

Endress & Hauser, Krohne, Jowa-Aquatape, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Toshiba, ABB, Pulsar and

Schneider Electric product lines

Contractor shall provide one (1) certified electrician licensed for EE-98 (600 V and below). The

certified electrician shall possess knowledgeable and work experience which shall include but not

limited to pneumatic, mechanical, electronic instrumentation, programmable logic controllers (PLC’s),

PLC programming and computer based systems.

Maintenance service calls to Canyon Road Water Treatment Plant, Water Well Sites and Paseo Real

Wastewater Treatment Plant and Lift Station Sites will be scheduled at the convenience of both the

city and contractor.

The city shall by phone inform contractor or what electrical service or equipment needs to be checked

or worked on by contractor.
