Arrive Santa Fe for Newcomers
An engagement program for newcomers
Welcome to Santa Fe, New Mexico!
I want to let you know that we want to give you all of the tools, connections and social activities to help you build a social and professional network that will increase your chances of creating job opportunities and a community as you grow more comfortable in your new home town.
There are many companies here in the tech, healthcare, government, tourism and food industries that would love to learn of your experience, interests and stories to help advance your career goals. Additionally, we want to hear of some of the best practices from your former City. We could learn from you to make this a better place to live, work and play.
- We have launched a Facebook group with professional, social and networking events and activities that HR, community managers, recruiters and fellow employees can share with those who have joined the team in the last two years.
- Included in the Facebook group is an intake survey that will allow us to curate more programming that complements your needs in the community. Calendar of events and more details are here – click here.
I look forward to meeting you at one of our upcoming gatherings. We can’t wait to hear your newcomer stories and hope that we can share some of our City spirit.

Resources for our newest residents
Santa Fe Newcomers share a desire to make new friends and explore their community—whether they’ve lived here two weeks or 20 years. With about 400 members, the Newcomers Club of Santa Fe represents diverse interests, experiences, and backgrounds. The tie that binds, though, is an eagerness to engage in the Club’s social and cultural activities with other curious and open-minded residents. Join us, and open the door to new sources of fun and friendship.
A Facebook page designed by The City of Santa Fe Office of Economic Development to curate a community, social, and networking events and bring them to the newest residents. Our aim is to help you increase social, business and community capital in Santa Fe.
