The Dog Park Project

A new organization in town, called The Dog Park Project, will partner with City Parks and Recreation to beautify and improve the Frank S. Ortiz Dog Park. Founded by Jane Larson, Robin Hardin and Maya Spotted Bear, the project has adopted the park through the city of Santa Fe's Adopt-a-Park program and will be raising funds to enhance the park so that dogs and their humans have a safe and enjoyable experience.

The Dog Park Project will be hosting a semiannual Dog Park Cleanup next Saturday, April 22, from 9 am to noon, with the help of long time host Pamela Geyer. All necessary material for the pickup, coffee and donuts, will be provided to volunteers at a table set up at the cleanup to kick off The Dog Park project.

All Santa Feans who enjoy beautiful parks and dogs are invited to attend!
