The City of Santa Fe Parks and Recreation Department and the Public Works Facilities Division are working on a much-needed improvement project to provide additional parking and associated improvements at the facility.
This work is Phase 1A of the larger programmed scope including improvements to the dog park, playground areas and park proper.
Construction mobilization is anticipated to begin on Monday, March 13, 2017. The general contractor, FacilityBUILD, Inc. is planning to complete construction within 120 days or less. No closures or interruptions to regular service are anticipated due to this project and minimal disturbance is expected during daily use of the park or recreation facility. However, since significant remodeling is involved with these improvements, some inconvenience to patrons may occur periodically.
