Starting March 4, 2014 to March 10, 2014
The City of Santa Fe’s Regular Municipal Election will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, March 4, 2014 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Starting on Wednesday, March 4, 2014 and through March 10, 2014 all political signs should be removed within five days after the election as per Section 9-2.15 Santa Fe City Code Temporary Political Signs H. All political signs shall be removed within (5) days after the election (ord. #2005-14, §38; Ord. #2007-11, §14; Ord. #2007-21, §2).
Residents are encouraged to recycle these signs and the Environmental Services Division is providing four (4) drop off locations for the recycling of political campaign signs. Locations are:
Fire Station Number 1
200 Murales Road
Franklin Miles Park
Camino Carlos Rey and Siringo Road
Yucca and Zia Road, near the Yucca entrance
Genoveva Chavez Community Center
3221 Rodeo Road
The containers will posted with signage stating that they are for political campaign signs only. We are asking that you please remove any wooden material that may be on the signs such as wooden stakes or wooden backing.
