City Releases FAQ, Website on Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Policies

As ongoing public concerns rise to the surface, administration hopes to answer questions, increase transparency around processes

 

As public questions related the city’s policies and practices for managing the plant and animal pest challenges that arise in Santa Fe on an annual basis continue to surface, the City is working to clarify its procedures, address the public’s questions, and inform a broad array of interested Santa Feans on the work it does each year, particularly through the Spring and Summer months, to control weeds, insects, and other pests.

 To that end, Parks managers have compiled and are releasing the following FAQ and making staff available to answer questions via Constituent Services, at (505) 955-6043. The public can also access information about any applications of chemical control by listening to the outgoing message at (505) 955-2117.

 In addition, the city has dedicated page space on its website to sharing information related to the IPM, and will continue to update and add information, at:
