City Opening Parks, Trails and Recreation Master Plan Process to Community Input

After a significant investment in Parks, Trails and Medians upkeep, maintenance and beatification in the budget approved at the end of April, the City of Santa Fe and the Parks and Recreation Department is inviting the public to attend four meetings throughout the month of May to gather public input as they create a Parks, Trails, Open Space and Recreation Master Plan.

This document will guide budgeting, investment, maintenance and long-range planning and provide public transparency for one of City Governments most heavily utilized and popular features, including more than 70 parks and open spaces, hundreds of miles of trails for hiking, jogging, cycling, mountain biking, trail running and other activities, 6 recreation sites including centers, ball fields, and pools, and much more.
