The Railyard Policies and Procedures were produced in conformance with City of Santa Fe Resolution No. 2007-8 directing a Working Group comprised of City Staff, Santa Fe Railyard Community Corporation (SFRCC), and the Trust for Public Land to make recommendations to the Governing Body for events on the Santa Fe Railyard Development.

The Policies and Procedures were agreed upon by City Staff, SFRCC, the Trust for Public Land, Railyard Stewards (affiliated with the Trust for Public Land) and ex-officio members of the 2001 City of Santa Fe Master Plan Team.  Input was also obtained from anticipated user groups such as Farmers Market and artist groups.

The Railyard Policies and Procedures were approved by the Santa Fe City Council on May 13, 2009.  Final publication with Council approved revisions was December 15, 2009.
