Grant Programs
The City of Santa Fe Arts Commission provides funding to nonprofit arts and cultural organizations, both established and emerging. The Arts Commission has designed several funding programs to meet a range of needs. Through its funding programs, the Arts Commission wishes to encourage cultural services that enrich and benefit the entire community.

Funding Opportunities
1% Lodgers’ Tax Funding
Community Arts Promotion, for organizations with at least a two-year funding history. Applications are limited to requests of $100,000 or less. Next deadline will be February 2014.

Special & New Projects, for first-time applicants or one-time projects. Applications are limited to requests of $10,000 or less. Next deadline will be February 2014.

Community Arts Development
The Community Arts Development funds community-based organizations and projects of high artistic quality that provide arts services to the local community, with an emphasis on projects that bring the community together to celebrate the diversity of artistic heritage.  Education through the arts projects in schools and other settings are eligible to apply.  Applications are limited to requests of $6,000 or less.  Next deadline will be February 2014.

Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible to receive funding, organizations and projects must meet specific requirements. Prior to submitting an application, you should carefully review each category’s eligibility requirements.

Each year the Arts Commission supports a variety of arts and cultural activities presented throughout the Santa Fe area.
