Transportation
Air Service

Santa Fe residents and businesses have two airports at their disposal. The Santa Fe Municipal Airport offers an increasing number of direct flights to major cities and airline hubs and is fast and convenient to use. The larger Albuquerque International Sunport is just an hour drive to the south.

Roads
Santa Fe has always been a major transportation hub. Situated at the cool north end of New Mexico’s commercial corridor, Santa Fe allows quick access to the rest of New Mexico. The City sits directly on US Interstate 25 and is within an hour of Interstate 40.

Rail
Railrunner
Santa Fe is a major player in the railroad industry. The City is still served with passenger and freight rail by the Santa Fe Southern Railway. In addition, the State’s Railrunner Express commuter train is scheduled to begin serving the City in 2008.
