Wildfire Prevention & Evacuation
Wildfire Evacuation

In the event of an evacuation, proceed to the Santa Fe County Rodeo Grounds and check in with the Red Cross. The Red Cross will assist the City in:

  • Providing evacuation centers
  • Keeping track of those who have been displaced
  • Assisting people in need

Agent-Based Modeling and Visualization Project
In the Summer of 2006, the Santa Fe Fire Department completed an Agent-Based Modeling and Visualization Project in conjunction with Redfish Group. The project modeled wildfire conditions and possible outcomes in various parts of the City.
