DUI (DWI) School Registration
If you have any questions please feel free to call Shelley Abeyta at (505) 955-5006.
Registration for the Santa Fe DUI School must be done at the City of Santa Fe Police Dept. located at 2515 Camino Entrada, Santa Fe, NM 87507, next door to Municipal Court.
To register for DUI School, you or someone on your behalf must register in person at the City of Santa Fe Police Department. You must bring your court order (court paperwork) with you to registration. Your court order sentences you to attend and complete DUI school and pay a $175 enrollment fee.
We do not accept installment payments, deferred payments, or offer financial aide for the enrollment fee. We accept cash (exact change of $175), a cashier’s check, or money order, made payable to The City of Santa Fe. We cannot accept personal checks.
Registration is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Police Department is closed on weekends, and for all recognized holidays. If you are unable to register at the designated times, please call so that proper arrangements can be made.
Classes are the first three consecutive Saturdays of each month, unless a holiday falls on one of those Saturdays. You must attend all three classes in order to complete the Santa Fe DUI School. Should you miss a session nor comply with the sentencing, you must return to the Judge and court that sentenced you, and obtain a re-referral and then re-register for another three sessions of DUI School. The re-enrollment fee is $50. Once again, to register even if it is a re-registration, you must do so in person at the Police Department.
Unable to Register
If you are unable to register by the date stated on your court sentencing nor have the $175 enrollment fee, you must see the Judge who sentenced you to get an extension on that date. We do not register students who have expired court sentences.
