Working Conditions
Work is performed inside and outside, sometimes in inclement weather. Officers may be subject to work-related injuries and emotional and mental stressors that regularly occur in the law enforcement profession. The job may require arduous physical exertion under rigorous and unusual conditions. Irregular work hours, nights, weekends, holidays and on-call duty are required. If you're tough enough to handle all of this, the Santa Fe Police Department wants you!
