Welcome to the City of Santa Fe, Economic Development proposal process.  We're looking for great, innovative ideas that will move our economy forward.

A total of $165,000 was budgeted for proposals this fiscal year.  Based on available funding, we plan on opening this proposal process twice this fiscal year - once in Fall 2010 (current round), and once in Spring 2011.  Based on the quantity and quality of the competitive proposals, it is possible that all funds will be awarded during the first round or split equally between the two rounds of funding. In no case will the total funds awarded exceed the budgeted amount during the fiscal year.

We are looking forward to reviewing innovative proposals, and, as a result of the limited resources, we expect to receive very competitive proposals.  A proposal should not exceed $50,000, and we strongly encourage proposals for much smaller amounts - micro projects which demonstrate how a little funding can go a long way.

City of Santa Fe Economic Development staff will be available during the proposal period for one-on-one technical assistance.  Please attend the informational session which will include time for questions and answers.  The session will take place in the City Council Chambers in City Hall, 200 Lincoln Street, on August 20, 2010 from 9:30-11:00am.  Visit the Economic Development website.
