The mission statement of the division is to provide safe and efficient transportation infrastructure in a fiscally and environmentally responsible manner utilizing technical and administrative project management expertise in the study, design and construction of capital improvement projects.

The Roadway & Trails Engineering Division provides the technical and administrative project management expertise in the study, design and construction of citywide engineering infrastructure projects, including roadway, bridge, trail, river and watershed improvement projects.  The division is comprised of the following sections:
