The 2009 Crack Seal Program is scheduled to begin Monday, September 21, 2009, weather permitting. The process consists of applying a rubberized asphalt sealant material on roadway cracks to prevent water seeping into the pavement. The duration of the construction on each particular street is normally one to two days. The project is scheduled to last 20 working days, with tentative completion on October 23, 2009. Exact dates are difficult to predict, as inclement westher can be a factor. No streets will be closed during this maintenance work.
