The City has partnered with Homewise Inc., a local non-profit organization, to provide low-interest loans to homeowners making less than $99,000 per year for energy efficiency upgrades and/or solar equipment installations.  Qualified projects include solar hot water, solar electric (PV), high efficiency furnaces, window and door replacement, and roofs and stucco with insulation.

Renewable Energy Loans (only)
To date, $850,000 has been loaned out at interest rates of 4% and less by Homewise from City funds.  An additional $600,000 in loans will be available at low interest rates in the Fall of 2012.
