Airport: Open 24/7
The mission is to oversee the operation and maintenance of the Santa Fe Municipal Airport, to operate a public air transportation facility that is open 24 hours a day/seven days per week, for the benefit of the residents of Santa Fe and the general public.
In FY 2011, the airport handled 77,990 aircraft operations and loaded 43,156 commercial airline passengers. The Aviation Division uses self-generated revenue as well as federal and state grants to fund daily operations and major capital projects meant to improve air service for the city and surrounding region.
The Aviation Division provides the following services at the Santa Fe Municipal Airport (SAF):

- Airfield maintenance
