The mission of the Training Section is to provide valid and defendable services in the following areas:
- Emergency, fire, medical, and wildland response
- Hazardous material
- Technical rescue
- Airport crash and fire response
- Classification and officer development trainings
- Maintenance of all safety, OSHA, NFPA, and ISO standards
The Training Section provides the resources and guidance needed to provide advanced life support and emergency medical services for local residents and visitors.
We provide our three EMT levels (Basic, Intermediate and Paramedic) with up-to-date training and ensure they meet the minimum required hours for yearly recertification.
