The Special Events Team attends the major summertime events in Santa Fe. The team consists of specially trained Fire Department members who use bikes and other small, motorized transportation to respond to emergency situations in densely crowded areas.

Currently, we provide medical coverage for seven large events in the City Plaza each summer. We also provide medical coverage for smaller events, including local athletic events, boxing events, and horse jumping competitions.
