Ann Yalman was re-elected as Santa Fe Municipal Court Judge at the March 6, 2012 Regular Municipal Election; and was sworn-in on March 12, 2012. She has worked to make the Court impartial, efficient, and to restore the fundamental values of a fair judicial system.

Judge Yalman is a former Santa Fe County Probate Judge and a former part-time United States Magistrate Judge.

Judge Yalman was a sole practitioner in Santa Fe for 29 years, handling primarily family law and other civil cases.

Before moving to Santa Fe, she worked for the EEOC in Atlanta, Georgia and for the Florida Rural Legal Services in Immokalee, Florida.

Judge Yalman earned her Bachelor's degree in sociology from Antioch College, Yellow Springs, Ohio and her law degree from New York University.
